MYSY Scholarship 2024 – Features and Benefits
- Students can apply to buy books and educational support
- Students who can get INR 10 lakh who are in Medical Education.
- Students of all categories will get an age relaxation of 5 years.
- The government will also provide financial assistance of INR 1,200 per month for 10 months to students who are in a region.
- All the students who have passed Class 10 and 12 with 80% marks and have opted for diploma courses will receive financial aid of INR 25,000 per year or 50% of the course fees.
- The government will also provide free-of-cost outfits, reading material, etc. to the students under the MYSY scholarship scheme.
According to State Government approval, the income certificate given by the candidate’s parents shall be valid for three fiscal years from the date of issuance. As a result, candidates who already have a valid income certificate won’t need to get another one for the following three fiscal years.

MYSY Scholarship 2024 – Launch details
This scheme was started in September 2017, Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana also known as MYSY Scholarship. MYSY scholarship in Diploma admissions, the candidate should have passed the 10+2 from a recognized board from the state of Gujarat with a minimum 80 percentile in the board examination. For scholarship in Bachelor’s degree programs, the candidates should have passed 10+2 Science/General stream from a recognized board from Gujarat with a minimum of 80% in the board examination.
The minimum qualifying condition for Diploma to Degree students to benefit from the initiative is 65% in the Diploma level examination from a recognized university in Gujarat. Candidates whose parents’ yearly income is less than Rs. 6,00,000/- per year will be deemed eligible for the MYSY Scholarship 2024 scheme.
The State Government has approved the validity of the income certificate for three financial years from the date of issue. Accordingly, a candidate with a valid income certificate need not have to issue it again for the next three years. Gujarat residential:- A resident of Gujarat is required to avail of the benefits of this scheme or you can not take advantage of this scheme.
Annual Income:- Under the MYSY scheme, the student’s family household revenue must not surpass 4.5 lakh.
Merit List:- Only those candidates are eligible for this scheme who have got a 90 % or more percentage in their class 10th and 12th examinations term and conditions for scholarship.
MYSY Scholarship Reward
The government will give ₹ 10,00,00 through a Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana scholarship to students for 5 years. But this amount will be delivered to the candidates who are studying at the Gujarat Medical Education Research Society (GMERS) along with their studies of dental courses as well.
Tuition Fee Scholarship reward
- For admission in Medical and Dental Graduate Level programs in Government Approved self-finance institutes, the Candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 2,00,000/-whichever is less.
- For admission in Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Paramedical, or Veterinary Graduate Level program in Government Approved self-finance Institutes, a candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 50,000/-, whichever is less.
- For admission in BSc, B.Com., B.A., B.B.A., or BCA Graduate Level program in Government self-finance Institutes, and the Candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 10,000/-, whichever is less.
- For admission in Diploma courses in government-approved self-finance Institutes, the Candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 25,000/-, whichever is less.
MYSY Scholarship Scheme For Other Courses
Candidates who are studying engineering, pharmacy, physiotherapy Ayurved, nursing, and homeopathy can also be eligible for the MYSY scholarship scheme. Those students will be given half the amount through the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana scholarship That means they will receive up to 50000 per year.
